Libélulas

La libélula es un bellísimo animal veraniego, pero por arte de magia, se me ha presentado durante este invierno. Dos encargos consecutivos, de dos personas sin vinculación entre sí que me pedían libélulas.

Podría atribuirlo a la casualidad, que es lo que se dice cuando no se quiere profundizar en algo. Encoger los hombros y decir: casualidad, banalizar la cuestión y seguir cómodamente narcotizados por la ignorancia. En cambio, yo tiendo a escrutar la sinrazón y me resisto a obviar el misterio y las causas ocultas. Mi parte intuitiva se impone y alberga la esperanza de un motivo secreto, de una sincronía olvidada y unas normas antiguas que rigen lo que no se puede explicar.

Creo que hay corrientes que fluyen en la oscuridad, que no percibimos, pero que actúan de manera firme. Me reconforta pensar en una conciencia común que une todas las cosas y las conecta.

Prefiero sentir a esas pequeñas libélulas como un tótem determinado a nutrirme durante el invierno y así poder sentirme profundamente agradecido.

 

The dragonfly is a beautiful summer animal, but for magic art, it has appeared to me during this winter. Two consecutive orders, of two persons without any link between themselves who were asking me for dragonflies.

We might attribute it to the coincidence, which is what’s said when you don’ t want to delve into something. Shrink the shoulders and say: coincidence, to trivialize the question and to remain comfortably narcotized by the ignorance. On the other hand, I tend to scrutinize the unreason and I refuse to obviate the mystery and the secret causes. My intuitive part is imposed and lodges the hope of a secret motive, of a forgotten synchrony and a few ancient norms that govern what it’s not possible to explain.

I believe that there are currents that flow in the darkness, which we do not perceive, but acting firmly. It encourages me to think about a common conscience that joins all the things and connects them.

I prefer to feel these small dragonflies like a totem determined to nourish me during the winter and this way to be able to feel deeply grateful.
